Hi there!

I’m Anna, the person behind the Pilates Flow brand. I’m thrilled to share a bit about my journey and the reasons why I absolutely love what I do.

Changing Lives with Pilates

It’s incredibly fulfilling to witness the transformative power of Pilates in people’s lives. From helping members recover from injuries to supporting mums in rebuilding their core strength after childbirth, and even relieving chronic back pain – seeing these successes firsthand reaffirms my belief that Pilates truly works wonders. Creating a safe space where this magic happens is incredibly rewarding.

I began my journey in 2004 when I started practising Krav Maga, a self-defence system. In 2010, I opened my own school in Cheltenham. As my school grew, I realized the need for a more comprehensive approach that supports the body’s recovery after intense combat training.

In 2012, I expanded into the fitness realm, earning my Level 2 Instructor qualifications at the University of Gloucestershire. In 2013 I achieved an Advanced Diploma in Personal Training and certifications in Kettlebell Training, Functional Movement Screening, Holistic Lifestyle Coaching, and more.

My journey wasn’t without its challenges. Injuries prompted me to explore healing paths, and that’s when Pilates became a revelation. Under the guidance of a remarkable instructor, Graham, I spent six years learning one-on-one, resulting in a strengthened core and correct movement patterns.

I didn’t stop there. I pursued further qualifications as a Mindfulness Teacher, Breathwork Facilitator, and Level 1 Forma Gymnastic Fitness Instructor (FGF™).

Motherhood at 36 brought a transformative perspective on training, nutrition, and life. Recognizing the unique needs of women, especially post-pregnancy, I undertook courses like Training the Female Core and Core and Pelvic Floor. This ongoing journey has now led me to pursue Pilates Level 4 qualifications.

Motivation to Deepen My Practice

Leading classes not only allows me to guide others but also motivates me to deepen my own practice. I’m constantly amazed by the progress I’ve made, alongside my husband and Jose, over the last couple of years as we’ve dedicated ourselves to our practice. It’s not about being perfect but being better. Keep showing up, and the results will add up.

Thank you for being a part of this incredible journey with me. Let’s continue to flow, grow, and thrive together!
