Reformer
at pilates flow

Reformer Pilates brings the principles of Pilates to life through smooth, supported movement and intelligent resistance.

Using the Reformer machine — a sliding carriage with springs, straps, and a footbar — you’ll experience a style of training that builds strength, mobility, balance, and control in a way that feels both challenging and supportive.

The springs provide adjustable resistance that can make exercises either more supportive or more demanding, allowing each movement to be adapted to your body and your level of experience.

Discover your strength through Pilates!

At Pilates Flow, our Reformer classes are small, carefully guided, and focused on quality of movement. With only a handful of reformers in the room, we can offer individual feedback and help you build confidence with the equipment.

Whether your goal is to:

  • build strength and stability

  • support your spine and joints

  • improve balance and coordination

  • or simply move and feel better in your body

Reformer Pilates offers a unique and effective way to do it.

Many people are surprised by how intuitive and enjoyable the Reformer feels once they try it.

Below you’ll find our class options and schedule, so you can choose the session that fits you best.

🌿 IMPORTANT NOTE 🌿

1. Reformer Pilates is physically demanding.
If you haven’t exercised at all for several months, we recommend starting with our mat Pilates classes first to build some basic strength and mobility before joining the Reformer sessions.

2. All Reformer classes require grip socks (sticky trampoline-style socks work perfectly).

🌿 OUR REFORMER CLASSES 🌿

REFORMER FOUNDATIONS

Reformer Foundations is the starting point for your Reformer Pilates journey at Pilates Flow.

This class is designed for people who already have some movement experience — for example if you have attended mat Pilates, practise yoga, train at the gym, joined our Intro to Reformer workshop, or are generally body-aware and familiar with basic movement principles.

During the class we focus on learning how to use the Reformer equipment safely and effectively, while applying the key Pilates principles such as breathing, alignment, core engagement and controlled movement.

The pace is supportive and structured, helping you build confidence on the machine while developing strength and control.

Expect a full-body workout that improves:
• Core strength
• Posture and spinal alignment
• Joint stability
• Mobility and coordination

The focus of Foundations is quality of movement and strong technique, so you feel confident progressing to more demanding classes later.

REFORMER SCULPT

If Reformer Foundations is about learning and refining movement, Reformer Sculpt is where things become more energetic.

Sculpt classes are faster, more upbeat and more physically demanding, with a stronger focus on muscle endurance and flowing sequences. The pace is higher, the transitions are quicker and the workout feels more intense.

Many people start with Foundations to learn the machine, and then progress to Sculpt when they feel ready for a bigger challenge.
